Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Fabricator to join their team. As a Fabricator, you will be part of the Manufacturing team supporting various assembly processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fabricator

Location: Imperial, PA

Pay Range: $17.50-$19.20/hr

What's the Job?

• Weld steel subassemblies to AWS B2.1/B2.1M standards.
• Create, prove out, and document dock leveler manufacturing processes with a focus on welding.
• Actively participate as a member of the launch team implementing welding, painting, and assembly processes.
• Check measurements and dimensions of each piece being worked on using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and other specifications to ensure accurate completion of fabrication processes.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• AWS B2.1/B2.1M Qualified welder.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S methodologies.
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds or more.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and concepts, preferably SAP.
