RER Solutions Inc, a Federal Government Contracting organization, is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is accepting resumes for Home Inspectors to work with our team on various private military housing inspection projects on a national level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Residential or Commercial property inspections according to the provided guidelines
• Follow inspection procedures for onsite inspection of the systems and components of existing homes
• Walk the exterior and interior of the homes
• Access and inspect unfinished spaces
• Evaluate the home deficiencies including, but not limited to: site issues, building materials and the conditions, health and human safety items, physical and structural conditions
• Complete Inspection Checklist and requisition reporting
• Address the concerns of the client
• Provide detailed descriptions

• Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client’s site access clearance
• 4-6 years of working in or around the residential or commercial construction field
• Experience in building inspection and code compliance
• A license in architecture or engineering
• Good standing license in General Contracting in the registered state(s)
• International Code Council Certification (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent time and task management skills
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Must be able to travel
• Valid Driver’s License

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

Bachelor’s in Architecture or in a related field (NAAB and/or CACB accredited)

Home Inspection License or Certification

InterNachi Certification
