Whisper Woods of Smithtown is looking for a compassionate HHA to join our team! As a Home Health Aide, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.


Part Time Overnights needed: Friday, Saturday / Sunday, Monday :11pm-7am.


Competitive Pay: Starting rate of 19.00-20.25 per hour commensurate with years of experience


HHA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

HHA Requirements:

• Valid CNA-HHA license or certificate required.
• Prior experience in an assisted living community. Memory care experience is preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits)
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
• Willingness to learn!
