Location: This position is based out of our office at 2931 Airport Way Revelstoke, British Columbia
Compensation: $115,000 yearly for 196 workdays and 400 flight hours; Additional hours over 400 are compensated at $100/hr. Additional days over 196 are compensated at $400/day.
Hours: 30-40 per week

Arrow Helicopters Inc. is a well-established helicopter service provider serving Western Canada from Revelstoke. We provide a variety of services, including scenic flights, heli-skiing support, heli-bike shuttle services, mountain rescue, fire suppression, avalanche control, mining exploration, remote lodge transfers, external load and utility work, professional filming support, and other specialized charter/utility operations.
We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our team in Revelstoke. This position offers diverse, year-round flying that ranges from utility and charter operations to specialized mountain work. Typical assignments include scenic and charter flights, heli-ski and heli-bike support, avalanche control, wildfire suppression, mountain rescue assistance, remote lodge transfers, external load operations, and film support.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate helicopters (primarily Airbus AS350 B2/B3) in a variety of mountain flying roles such as external load (e.g., rescue, utility), heli-skiing, search & rescue, remote-access drop-offs/pick-ups, and other utility/charter missions.
· Conduct pre-flight planning and risk assessment, including mountain/weather analysis, route planning, load calculations, weight and balance, external load rigging (if applicable), and flight-crew briefings.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation and safety regulations (e.g., medical/ licence requirements, regulatory standards, company safety procedures).
· Maintain aircraft logbooks and complete accurate documentation for flights, maintenance, incidents, and regulatory compliance.
· Work collaboratively with ground crew, operations staff, external clients (e.g., lodges, charter clients, government agencies), and other stakeholders.
· Provide high-quality client service for charter, scenic, lodge-transfer and adventure operations; ensure client instructions and expectations are met in a professional, safety-conscious manner.
