Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (Full-Time or Part-Time, Mobile)

About the Role
Join a mobile heavy-duty team that keeps trucks, trailers, and fleets rolling across farms, yards, and job sites—not just a bay. You’ll perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and hands-on repairs with real growth into advanced diagnostics.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Perform DOT inspections & repairs to safety standards
Complete PM services (oil, filters, fluids) on Class 6–8 trucks and trailers
Execute entry- to mid-level repairs: brakes, air systems, suspension, cooling, electrical basics, minor hydraulics
Support diagnostics & troubleshooting; learn advanced diagnostics over time
Document work orders accurately; communicate clearly with customers
Operate a company service truck and maintain a clean, safe work area
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
2+ years’ experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician/Mechanic
Own basic tool set; ability to work in Colorado weather and field conditions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; clean MVR preferred, CDL preferred
Self-starter with integrity, attention to detail, and strong customer service
Resides in the Front Range / Northern Colorado area
Nice to Have: ASE certifications, CDL, OEM exposure (CAT, Cummins, Detroit), laptop-based diagnostics, welding basics.

Schedule & Travel
FT or PT; local travel across Northern Colorado to customer sites
Daytime hours with occasional optional after-hours (rare roadside)
Work Environment / Physical Demands
Field work around commercial vehicles and equipment; lift up to ~50 lbs; extended standing, bending, and tool use.
