Position: Hadoop Developer

Location: Gahanna, OH

Looking for a Senior Hadoop Developer in Columbus, OH.

Good knowledge in

• Hadoop Framework
• ETL/ELT framework

Working experience in

• HDFS (fundamental operations)

• Sqoop => Example importing/exporting data from/to relational databases like Oracle/DB2/MS SQL Server
• Hive => Basic concept, tables/views, different storage formats, performance tuning for reading and writing the data (like Partitioning, Bucketing, Join Operations, Configuration parameters), Addressing CRUD Operations
• ANSI SQL/HQL => Select, Insert (Overwrite), create, drop, truncate, alter, inner join, outer joins, analytical functions
• Unix Shell scripting => Reading/Writing files, automating hive commands, preprocessing data, handling errors Processing XML/CSV Files in to HDFS
• Job Scheduling using any of the Job scheduling tools like Autosys

• HBase/Phoenix
• NiFi
