Job Description

Our client, a prestigious university located in Boston, MA, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their Graduate Office on a temporary basis . This is a full - time , hybrid position, with 4 days remote and Tuesdays on site . The hours are from 9am to 5pm , and compensation for this role is $25 per hour . Qualified and interested individuals are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.

Responsibilities :

• Assistance with the daily processing of admissions applications
• Answering the Grad Office main phone line
• Maintenance of the Grad Office main email inbox
• Assisting students with basic questions related to the application process, registration, commencement etc.
• Assistance with logistics for on campus and virtual recruitment events such as the Open House and Welcome Days
• General office support as needed

Desired Competencies

• We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational and communication skills, who is detail-oriented and has a few years of administrative experience. Preferably, someone with higher ed experience (although not required)
• Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, etc. are some of the systems you will likely be using
