Seeking Strategic and tactile leader with experience to
grow a global supply chain team . Do you want to run your own show....drive expansion and improvement to supply chain teams? Work closely with Executive team as well as peers in Engineering, Operations and Sales.
My client has been growing quickly through acquiring smaller firms and plants. Need
strategic leader who will study current supply chain, assess where they are and decide how to improve, prepare for next growth stage as they grow to serve global customer base.
Summary Oversee strategic planning and execution of a global sourcing, production planning and logistics strategy - including launch of new manufacturing or distribution operations in new regions/countries.
- Study current supply chain, assess where they are and decide how to improve, prepare for next growth stage as they set up operations in other states or countries.
- Manage planning and execute a global supply chain strategy - including launch into new regions/countries
- Identify the weaknesses, put new processes in place to effect change BUT it's also a roll-up-the-sleeve's, build, coordinate, collaborate and execute role.
- Drive Lean and Operations Excellence throughout multiple manufacturing plants.
Qualifications
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management or finance or business
- Proven track record of multiple plants, global organization
- Experience in global logistics
- Developing a global sourcing strategy - including launch into new regions/countries
