About the job: Direct the functions, processes, and operations of the SOC and ensures policies and procedures are followed Lead the 24x7 operations of the SOC to ensure optimal identification/resolution of security incidents and enhance client Monitor all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems with designated region via provided monitoring systems Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras Monitor and respond to all security/life safety systems alarms Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency communication systems; communicate clearly, give direction, and provide guidance to staff during emergencies The GSOCM is responsible for assessing, analyzing, and responding to incidents related to safety and security around the globe The role requires daily use of tools/systems (e.g. access control, video management, risk feeds) to detect impact to the client's people, property or facilities and alert the appropriate response stakeholders Incidents within scope may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, civil unrest, and other personnel issues The GSOCM will be responsible for customer service tasks to provide critical information and assistance to employees and travelers Monitor and operate security systems to include access control and CCTV, along with environmental monitoring and mass notification systems Monitor and respond to global alerts and events effecting company facilities and employees providing immediate information and assistance as needed Respond quickly to alarms, phone calls, and environmental monitoring and alerting systems Notify, assist, and direct external emergency personnel and internal resources as necessary Notify leadership of event effecting business operations and employees Dispatch security officers for alarm response, calls for service and emergency situations Execute protocols and communicate at level across the globe to employees, site security leads and safety and security staff Manage information flow to and from an incident Maintain operational logs, conduct daily shift checklists, handover reports and incident reports Maintain situational awareness of current global events Coordinate with Security Operations regional lead on incident detection and management Your background: You have a college education preferred 2-4 years prior experience working in a SOC environment as a manager. 2-4 years hands on experience with Windows 10, MS Word, Excel, Email, typing etc. 2-4 years hands on experience with the CCURE 9000 Access Control and Genetec Video software You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process You have a state security license, New York Security License You have CPR/AED/First Aid Certification If you want a real career opportunity where you are a part of a dynamic supportive team that's dedicated to your success, check us out.
