We are currently seeking an experienced GIS Systems Administrator to be key resources on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting all GIS infrastructure deployed in the TxDOT Environment.
Primary resource responsible for support and maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise deployment for GIS Platform. As part of the maintenance team, this resource will oversee enhancements to the existing infrastructure or configure new deployments in TxDOT environment as needed.
This resource shall closely work with GIS architects and ensure all GIS deployment standards and guidelines are adhered.

Experience in install and maintenance of GIS infrastructure.

Experience in ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, ArcGIS Server, and Portal for ArcGIS.

Experience in modifying and updating ArcGIS deployments with Chef and Cloud Formation Templates.

Experience working on solutions deployed in AWS or GCP

Experience configuring and maintaining ESRI License manager.

Experience in securing and maintaining the site using firewalls and ports, server certificates, and adhering to enterprise security policies

Experience with ArcGIS workflow automation tools like Python API for ArcGIS and WebGISDR tool.

Experience in monitoring the performance and health of the site using ArcGIS Monitor, server logs and statistics

Experience in upgrading ArcGIS software to latest versions following ESRI standards and TxDOT security policies

Perform configurations of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions (ArcGIS Apps, etc.)
Experience with supporting GIS database services (RDBMS), specifically on SQL Server.
Experience on FME Desktop and FME Server
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite). This position is looking for candidates in the Austin region only.
