Job Overview:
As a Garage Door Installer at Door Serv Pro, you’ll be the face of our company—responsible for the professional and efficient installation of residential garage doors, openers, and accessories. You'll travel to various job sites across a four-state area, perform high-quality installations, and provide outstanding customer service.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, is organized, safety-conscious, and thrives in a dynamic work environment. You’ll work independently and as part of a team, representing Door Serv Pro with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install garage doors, openers, and related accessories according to manufacturer specifications and job orders.
• Unload and stage materials; verify all parts match the job requirements.
• Conduct thorough job site and vehicle inspections for safety and readiness.
• Communicate with customers regarding installation steps, safety features, and the MyQ app (provide overview only).
• Ensure all documentation, signatures, and photos are completed and uploaded to ServiceTitan before leaving the job site.
• Clean and sweep the work area post-installation; remove all debris.
• Identify and report any safety or quality issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in garage door installation, general trades, or finish/trim carpentry is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mobile/tablet apps.
• Able to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders, in tight spaces, and outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with Google Maps, navigation tools, and ServiceTitan is a plus.

Work Conditions:

• Field-based role at customer sites across WV, VA, MD, and PA.
• Exposure to various weather conditions and physical environments.
• Occasional early mornings or extended hours based on job requirements.
