Game UX Designer needed for Contract Opportunity with Randstad Digital's client in Redmond, WA
Our client is the creator of a top selling and critically acclaimed AAA franchise, and they have an exciting opportunity for a skilled UI artist to join our studio. This role involves leveraging industry UI/UX design knowledge and artistic ability to create appealing solutions for a broad host of visual needs, including: in-game media such as icons, headers, screen layouts, as well as other various other types of graphic design and UI components.
Qualifications:
- BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or similar
- 3+ years in UI artist role or similar on AAA titles
- strong understanding of UI including: graphic design (layout/composition, typography, iconography) and usability and function (button states, accessibility)
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or other visual design and wire framing tools
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Up to date with the latest UI trends, design trends, techniques
Other desirable qualifications:
- Experience with 3D modeling software, Adobe After Effects, Perforce
- Experience with animation/motion graphics
- Experience designing for console and PC

responsibilities:
- Ability to create and execute high quality design work consistent with the visual style developed in collaboration with the Art Director and the UX Director
- Work with UX team to translate wireframes into in-game UI assets for engineering hand-off
- Effectively manage multiple assignments with varying end dates simultaneously
