Full Time Live-in or Live out Housekeeper/Family Assistant in Boston, MA $62,400 - $72,800

Seeking a highly organized and proactive Family Assistant/Housekeeper for a busy family. This is a live-out position with extensive travel requirements during the summer and other times throughout the year. The role involves housekeeping, organizational tasks, and occasional childcare for two children (ages 3 and 6). The family is looking for someone who can ensure their household runs smoothly and maintain their high organizational standards.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week).
• Start day: ASAP!
• Pay: $30-$35 per hour, based on experience.
• Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation. 2 sick days and 2 personal days. 6 paid holidays.
• Looking for a long term commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the organization of a 10,000-square-foot home (primarily the family’s living spaces on the second and third floors).
• Handle laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Restock household supplies and manage inventory.
• Assist with maintaining schedules and task checklists provided by the principal.
• Coordinate with contractors, handle deliveries, and manage household logistics

Childcare Support:

• Pick up the 6-year-old from school and drive to afternoon activities.
• Occasionally assist with childcare for the 3-year-old and 6-year-old.

Travel Support:

• Join the family for summer travel to their home in the Hamptons (June through August, with live-in accommodations provided).
• Travel to Montana, approximately three weeks per year (February, March, and other times as needed).

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a housekeeper, family assistant, or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow checklists and take initiative without constant direction.
• Valid driver’s license and comfort with driving children to activities.
• Flexibility to travel with the family during summer and other scheduled trips.
• Proactive and adaptable personality to thrive in a busy, dynamic household.
• Provide 3-5 professional references
