Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing pharmacy operation that blends the pace of retail with the precision of mail-order and pounding services. As the pharmacy expands its reach and volume, pharmacists will play a key role across the full medication workflowfrom order verification to final dispensingwhile working closely with technicians and gaining hands-on experience in both sterile and non-sterile pounding. This is a dynamic, team-driven environment with room to grow as the operation scales.
Location: Fairfield, OH (30 minutes outside of Cincinnati)First Shift: 7 AM3 PM, 8 AM4 PM, or 9 AM5 PM
Second Shift: 12 PM8 PM or 4 PM12 AM

pounded Medications Include:
Non-Sterile: Capsules, creams, gels, ointments, lotions, pellets
Sterile: Eye drops, IV injections
Responsibilities:
Lead or support shift huddles and assign technician responsibilities
Conduct pre-verification (PV1) and final verification (PV2)
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and instructions
Mentor new staff and provide ongoing feedback
Ensure clean shift transitions and well-stocked work areas
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory standards
Stay current on clinical knowledge and support pharmacy students/residents
Requirements:
Active Ohio pharmacist license in good standing (no restrictions)
Local to the area and able to plete an on-site interview
At least 12 years of pharmacy experience (retail or pounding preferred)
Prior experience with Framework and PioneerRx is a plus
Willingness to be trained in pounding techniques
Flexible with shifts and open to evening or 7-on/7-off schedules
