Front Office Coordinator
A well-established multi-location pediatric dental group is seeking a dedicated and team-oriented individual with strong multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate will manage the reception area, coordinate appointment scheduling, maintain patient records, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families. This role also includes working closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth office operations and an outstanding patient experience. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.

Required
High school graduation or equivalent
Dental Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Experience:
  • Previous work in a pediatric dental office or general dental practice is highly preferred. Candidates who are familiar with dental terminology, procedures, and office workflows can hit the ground running.
  • Ability to examine documents and account notes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service, particularly in a high-volume, fast-paced healthcare or dental office. This includes handling patient inquiries, complaints, and billing concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Experience managing a busy appointment schedule, minimizing patient wait times, and coordinating with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Proven ability to multitask and solve problems effectively in a dynamic environment. A Front Office Coordinator must juggle phone calls, patient check-ins, appointments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Understanding of common pediatric dental procedures (e.g., cleanings, sealants, extractions) can help the coordinator explain procedures to parents and communicate with clinical staff more effectively.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and experience ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality, particularly when handling sensitive patient information.
Knowledge
  • Eaglesoft Software skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret policies, procedures and account notes.
  • Ability to conduct tasks and assignments and contributes to team objectives and outcomes as guided.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Attention to detail.
