Job Description
This is NON-remote position and requires daily attendance to our Myrtle Beach, SC office.
The WordPress Developer is responsible for the design, maintenance, and updates of our WordPress / WooCommerce website environments. You will work closely with our Design team to deliver industry-leading site design, functionality, and performance for the best e-commerce products in their respective markets. This is a creative-focused position and relies on your own design and technical expertise to implement design cues determined by the Design team lead.
Responsibilities
Designs, maintenance, and updates of WordPress / WooCommerce website environments
Creative development and implementation of site design changes and feature updates
Management of site integrations and support of connections to third-party APIs
Management of WordPress / WooCommerce Release and Plugin version updates
General site operational support
Assist management in day-to-day operations, such as office cleanliness
Requirements
Experience
Front-end development: 3 years
PHP: 3 years
JS: 3 years
HTML/CSS: 3 years
SQL: 3 years
Minimum Qualifications
Experienced in the development, maintenance, and update of WordPress and WooCommerce sites
Proficiency in PHP, JS, HTML / CSS, and SQL
Strong site design experience
Familiarity with aesthetic design concepts
Degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, or similar relevant coursework required
Skills
Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
An innate ability to articulate design decisions confidently
Creative ability to ideate from an initial concept and see it through the design process to implementation
