Job Description

Overview:

InvestorPlace is looking for a Franchise Marketing Manager with a passion for driving revenue through subscriptions, a commitment to quality publishing, and a strong focus on making connections with our readers and prospects.

In this role, you are responsible for owning all elements of our online promotions managing the entire creative experience from ads to landing pages to webforms. You will maintain tracking and reporting on the metrics of our full sales funnels.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the management of marketing campaigns for email, mail, web, affiliate and external efforts.
  • Coordinate all campaign offers and offer chains within our proprietary Salesforce marketing platform.
  • Collaborate to create new online marketing promotion, new financial research products, setting up and testing new offer price choices.
  • Coordinate the creation of HTML content for the campaign assets with the Production team.
  • Final review and testing of all new campaigns before they are set live for customers, including proofing and design checks as well as pricing and billing confirmation.
  • They will also work closely with copywriters, production and marketing operations to ensure that all copy required for a campaign is delivered in a timely fashion to be entered into production.
  • Own highly visible lead generation campaigns including responsibility for headlines and landing pages, scheduling and testing.
  • Measure and analyze performance, and identify new opportunities based on customer and business data.
  • Develop marketing plans for various content marketing channels. Paid media may include display ads, search, native, and social media channels.
  • Assess new advertising opportunities.
  • Implement and continually test new creative messaging, landing pages, campaigns, and tools.
  • Drive well-structured campaign testing designed to validate the potential of elected channels.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or online publishing or similar experience is required.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is very helpful.
  • Proof-reading/grammar editing skills a plus.
  • Ability to write a headline, subject line or ad that leads to a marketing promotion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office is highly desired.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • 3+ years experience in a performance marketing role, preferably in the investing/personal finance space.
  • Strong understanding of online marketing channels such as social media marketing, display advertising, search engine marketing, and native advertising.
  • Experience with many of the large ad platforms: Facebook, Google Adwords and GDN, Bing, Yahoo Gemini, Taboola, Outbrain, Dianomi, Criteo, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Well versed in direct response marketing principles and methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful online marketing campaigns and experiments- owning campaign performance and adjusting tactics to meet objectives and budgets.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, a passion for metrics and quantitative analysis, ability to turn analysis into actionable programs, and ability to use data to optimize day-to-day performance.
  • Relentless drive to beat the control.
  • Ability to bridge data analysis, research, competitive intelligence, and marketing savvy to build efficient and scalable customer acquisition programs.
  • Must be a strong communicator able to effectively communicate results, test ideas, and ROI to all stakeholders.
  • Must be highly driven with a customer-centric attitude and the ability to work entrepreneurially on a small team.
