Job Summary
The Staff Engineer (Forensics) will perform site investigative evaluations and understand civil/structural testing data to determine the root cause of structural engineering and building envelope failures. He/She will take a hands-on approach to engineering by recording observations, performing/witnessing testing, and writing his/her unbiased findings into a detailed report. This role will require continuous learning in a team-focused environment.

Physical Demands
This position is a combination of site visits, travel-related work, and sedentary work. An employee is regularly required to drive, stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds. An employee may also be required to traverse uneven terrain, enter structures, use ladders, climb scaffolding, walk on roofs, enter crawl spaces and other tight areas, as well as work in various weather conditions.
