Finance Manager - Controller

Our client is a large multinational manufacturer in the Consumer Package Good Space. They are seeking a Finance Manager - Controller in their Buffalo Grove, IL area location to oversee all Plant Finance and Accounting operations. This role reports to CFO of the BU and will have broad exposure to leadership and an ability to impact the financials. This role will consider potential relocation for candidates.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager - Controller:

• Month End Close and Financial Reporting for the facility
• Act as a Finance Business Partner to multiple stakeholders in Leadership
• Drive performance of the facility through process improvements and continued analysis
• Support Cost Accounting across product lines
• Lead weekly and monthly review of manufacturing financials to Operational Leadership Team
• Perform moderate accounting activities including the month-end close and reporting process

Experience Requirements for the Finance Manager - Controller:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years of Accounting/Finance experience
• Strong costing and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
• CPA or CMA certification a plus
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry a plus

Anticipated annual base salary between $130,000 and 140,000 plus bonus depending on experience and qualifications.
