Position:

Field Test Engineer

Description:

Set up and check testing equipment each day. \nDrive on specific routes (8 hours a day) to collect mobile network data.\nFollow voice instructions from a testing tool during the drive.\nKeep an eye on the equipment to make sure everything runs smoothly.\nAfter the drive, wrap up the test, create a report, and upload the data.\nCheck equipment and report any problems.\nShare daily updates and report any major issues.
A typical day includes checking all hardware and software, installing and securing the test kit in the vehicle, doing a test run, following the planned route and listening to prompts, ending the test, generating a report, uploading the data, and packing equipment for the next day.

Requirements:

Experience with iOS drive testing tools like TEMS, Nemo, or G-NetTrack, and a basic understanding of wireless networks such as LTE or 5G.\nA two-year degree in Engineering, such as Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Engineering, is desirable.\nComfortable using computers and setting up tech equipment.\nGood with basic tech troubleshooting.\nPays close attention to detail and follows directions well.\nValid driver's license required; willingness to drive for 8 hours.\nAbility to work independently in the field.\nBonus points for experience in telecom or RF drive testing and familiarity with Android.
