Title: Field Service Engineer

Description: • The Field Service Engineer plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialized laboratory instrumentation.
• This position provides essential support to internal teams and end users, ensuring high-quality service and training.
• The engineer is responsible for on-site troubleshooting, technical guidance, and customer education.
• The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and be a trusted technical resource during field visits to laboratory sites across the region.
Required Skills: • Hands-on experience servicing, calibrating, and repairing laboratory equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with both hardware and software
• Familiarity with various analysis and testing tools
• Proficiency with commonly used operating systems and office productivity suites
• Capable of interpreting schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for customer interaction
• Experience with diagnostic instruments and tools commonly used in laboratory settings
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize field assignments effectively
• Able to work with tools, electronic systems, and handle delicate components
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and maneuver large equipment on wheels
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (including weekends and holidays occasionally)
• Comfortable working with hazardous materials and conducting visual inspections
• Manual dexterity for detailed repair tasks
Desired Skills: • Experience working in laboratory or clinical environments
• Background with diagnostic systems such as immunoassay or fluidic equipment
• Working knowledge of CRM tools and service ticketing systems
• Passport preferred for rare international support travel
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
Compensation: Pay Range: $73500K-$105000K
