Our client is a General Contractor needing an experienced Estimator with Federal experience

Job Responsibilities:

• The responsibilities involve reading project specifications
• Discussing bid strategies, defining subcontractors, and coordinating bid solicitations+
• Setting up bid summaries and spreadsheets, pricing self-performed and subcontracted work, and improving subcontractor relationships
• Tracking Value Analysis items and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• 2-7 years experience as a federal construction estimator,
• Familiarity with standard construction practices, procedures, and technology required.
• Creativity, leadership abilities, and proficiency in Timberline, OST, and Microsoft Office are essential.
• Experience obtaining sub-coverage, self-performance of concrete and carpentry, and training estimators is preferred.
