Title:  Program Manager – Federal/Border Control Construction

Location: Washington D.C./DMV area preferred (but flexible outside of this area)

About the Role:

Seeking an experienced  Program Manager to oversee multiple border control construction  projects with a leading federal construction firm. This role requires expertise in both  vertical and horizontal construction with project values up to $50 million . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of  federal contracting vehicles (GSA, IDIQ, SATOC/MATOC, ect) and the ability to manage a team of 3-5 project managers .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful execution of multiple domestic federal border control projects throughout the US.
  • Manage 3-5 project managers , ensuring project delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Provide strategic leadership for both  vertical and horizontal construction initiatives.
  • Administer and optimize various  federal contracting vehicles such as GSA, IDIQ, SATOC/MATOC, ect .
  • Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, safety requirements, and project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive project efficiency, risk management, and financial oversight.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in federal construction project/program management.
  • Ability to travel to projects 25-30%
  • Proven track record managing multiple  border control projects.
  • Experience with  design-bid-build, design-build, IDIQ, and other federal contract types .
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple teams and projects.
  • Knowledge of federal compliance, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field  preferred .
  • US Security Clearance required.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
