We are currently seeking a Federal Construction Estimator with experience in producing cost estimates for construction projects and services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of construction cost estimates over various phases of a project lifecycle.
• Provide conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction level estimates.
• Coordinate bid documents, production, subcontractor and vendor pricing, subcontractor and vendor buyouts and project turnover to Project Manager.
• Prepare Subcontractor pricing from proposals through to change orders for ongoing construction projects.
• Track and compare planned vs. actual time and cost results and make corrective recommendations
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Develops RFIs and clarifications and ensures adequate subcontractor coverage.

Qualifications:

• Federal, Military, or Municipal / Government estimating experience. Commercial Estimating experience will be considered as well.
• Team-oriented and places a high priority on company culture, job satisfaction, and working with great people.
• Construction Manager or Project Manager Experience is a plus.
• Heavy civil and/or structural estimating experience is a plus but not a requirement.
