*Associate Attorney – Full-time - Anchorage, AK($125k-$250k per year)*

The Law Offices of Blake Quackenbush is a prestigious Family Law firm originating from Anchorage, Alaska that offers a wide array of legal services to our clients. Due to firm expansion, we are seeking an ambitious, passionate, dedicated and *experienced* attorney to join our team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be an integral part of our legal team, assisting our clients in navigating complex legal matters and managing a team of paralegals. We’re looking for an associate attorney who has exceptional family law experience and is versatile in other areas of law that will further contribute to the firm's growth and success.

Primary responsibilities:
* Execute case strategy with other attorneys, paralegals, clients, and support staff.
* Manages high-level/high-asset cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; preparing for depositions; reviewing standard court documents; drafting letters; writing and reviewing discovery; dictating responses to opposing counsel and generating status reports.
* Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress.
* Perform case audits with legal team weekly
* Staying Organized by keeping files organized files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; researching case law; inputting information into file database and case management software; confirming case status with support staff and communicating regularly with clients.
* Other responsibilities as assigned.

*Qualifications:*
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
* Admitted to practice law in Alaska or able to transfer
* Background in civil litigation and/or experience attending court proceedings beneficial but not required.
* Knowledge in other areas of law is beneficial but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
