About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President, Policy to play a pivotal role in the generation and development of new policy ideas, as well as to lead and supervise the policy teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for building broad-based support for policy initiatives, managing the workflow and goals of policy projects, and representing the organization with various stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to set and achieve priorities, manage multiple projects, and effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals. The Executive Vice President, Policy will also be involved in fundraising and is expected to have a strong commitment to the mission and goals of the organization. Applicants for the Executive Vice President, Policy position at the company should have an advanced degree and a minimum of 10 years' professional experience in political, legislative, government, and/or nonprofit organizations. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in managing large, multifaceted teams, setting and achieving strategic priorities, and successfully implementing long-term plans. Experience in fundraising and a demonstrated ability to manage budgets are essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a fast-paced environment, be a strong leader, and have the ability to build and manage relationships with individuals and foundations.
