The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and direction of all patient access service functions. This includes the development and enforcement of organizational policies and procedures to ensure the quality and exceptional delivery of services. The role also involves budget development and monitoring, close collaboration with other departments, and the utilization of resources to meet the company's financial objectives. The Executive Director will lead a team, set performance standards, and be actively involved in performance improvement efforts to enhance services. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business management, healthcare administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in managing ambulatory patient access functions or a related area is required, along with a thorough understanding of healthcare revenue cycle functions. The role demands strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with physicians and senior leadership. The Executive Director will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and for the training and development of staff in all aspects of patient access services.
