Position: Excavation Crew Groundman
Location: Logan, UT
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable groundman to join our excavation crew. As a groundman, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team with various tasks essential to the excavation process. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting equipment operators and supervisors in preparing job sites for excavation activities.
- Ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are appropriately organized and readily available.
- Directing traffic around work zones to ensure safety for both crew members and the public.
- Performing general maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks as needed.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements: - Previous experience in construction or excavation preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing strenuous tasks.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Experience with utilities preferred.
