Job Description

POPUPFLORIST™ is a leading experiential floral design and event production company that creates unforgettable experiences for some of the world’s leading brands in fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle. Based in New York City, we work across a wide spectrum of creative projects—from luxury brand activations to experiential gifting to internal brand-building events—always with a deep commitment to beauty, creativity, and precision. Our team thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are alike.

Position Overview

POPUPFLORIST™ is seeking an exceptional Events Manager to lead the planning, execution, and post-event success of a wide variety of creative experiences. From initial client outreach and proposal development to production and breakdown, this role touches every stage of the event lifecycle.

“Events” at POPUPFLORIST™ is defined broadly: branded activations, floral installations, influencer gifting projects, and internal marketing initiatives are all part of the mix. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and creatively driven professional to join a passionate, nimble team and help shape the next phase of our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of each event and project, from initial communication and proposal development to execution and post-event wrap-up.
  • Act as the primary client liaison throughout all stages, maintaining professional, responsive communication.
  • Manage and track inbound event inquiries; work alongside CEO to translate client needs and brand objectives into proposals, budgets, and production plans.
  • Coordinate and manage internal teams and outside vendors to bring each project to life smoothly and on budget.
  • Oversee on-site event production, managing logistics and ensuring all deliverables are met.
  • During project downtime, support day-to-day tasks and studio operations to keep things running efficiently.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in events, production, or experiential marketing; experience with floral-focused events is a plus, but not required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with different timelines, scopes, and client expectations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapts well to changing priorities.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings or weekends as event schedules demand.
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and excitement about being part of a growing brand.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • Generous medical insurance contribution.
  • Be part of a leading, female-founded company known for creating floral-forward experiences for top brands and tastemakers.
  • Work on a wide range of exciting projects—from high-visibility brand activations to intimate creative collaborations.
  • Join a small, creative, high-impact team where your ideas and leadership will help shape the future of our business.
