Vibes & Verbs, a dynamic copywriting company based in Kansas City, MO, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Event Staff to assist with company-hosted events, conferences, and promotional activities. As a member of the Event Staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of events while providing excellent service to attendees.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces, including arranging seating, tables, displays, and promotional materials.
• Greet and assist event attendees, providing information, answering questions, and directing them to appropriate areas.
• Support event coordinators and team members with various event-related tasks, including registration, managing guest lists, and distributing materials.
• Ensure that event areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies throughout the event.
• Help manage the flow of guests, ensuring safety and crowd control while maintaining a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
• Assist with audio-visual equipment setup and operation, as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the event.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for event scheduling.
• Ability to lift and move event-related equipment and materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances during events.
