The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an enthusiastic, friendly event server to our Abigail Kirsch team in New York, NY. As an event server, you will have the opportunity to engage a diverse clientele across a variety of events.

Compensation is $24 an hour.

What you'll be doing:

• Greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking and delivering orders, and continuing with follow-up items.
• Ensuring that service follows health code regulations.
• Basic customer service interactions.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.
• Weekend availability a must
• Willing to work holidays
• Ability to climb stairs and stand for long periods of time
• Willing to work outdoors in the Summer and Winter as needed
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• At least one year of foodservice experience in a catering or restaurant setting.
