Salary: $20-$24/hour

Job Title:Sales + Marketing Coordinator

Department:Sales

Classification:Hourly

Reports to:Event Planners + General Manager

Overview:The Sales and Marketing Coordinator works with the GM and Event Planners to conduct venue tours, prepares/sends tour follow up communication, assists with preparing client proposals, and provides support for administrative tasks.

Auxiliary tasks include helping to develop social media content, implementing/organizing promotional events, website/social platform maintenance and general tasks related to marketing.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct venue tours with potential clients

- Create and send follow up emails to tour clients

- Coordinate proposals through the Event Planners

- Booking calendar maintenance

- Develop and create content for JH/BB websites, social media platforms and paid platforms like Wedding Wire, The Knot, etc.

- Maintain Flickr albums for planner/sales usage

- Help with special projects like client outreach, outside planner outreach, venue tours, market research, etc.

- Responsible for inventory maintenance of all marketing materials: printed menus, tour folders, reusable bags, branded collateral, business cards etc., notebooks, pens, iPads, etc.

Weekly Work Flow (subject to change based on feedback/business demands)

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday:

~off

Thursday:

10am-4pm (as needed)

~ sales meeting

~ marketing/Social media project work as needed

~ tours/tour follow-up

Friday/Saturday/Sunday:

~ social media content generation (photos and footage for future postings)

~ tours and tour follow-up

Desired Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in marketing; client-facing experience is preferred
• Extensive event, food, beverage, and service knowledge
• Experience in hotel or catering organization
• Ability to work independently

Working Conditions

• Working conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
• May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
