Michigan The Event Planner/Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing events that promote the organization's mission, engage stakeholders, and generate funding. This role involves managing event logistics, budgets, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and coordinate events such as fundraisers, workshops, and community programs.
- Develop event budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
- Identify and book venues, vendors, and other resources.
- Promote events through marketing campaigns and social media.
- Oversee event registration, attendance, and feedback collection.
- Coordinate event-day operations, including setup and breakdown.
- Maintain records of events and prepare reports on their success.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or coordination.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
