We are seeking an experienced Epic Cogito Developer with expertise in Caboodle and data modeling to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Epic's Cogito-based reporting and analytics solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will involve working closely with business and clinical stakeholders, data engineers, and Epic analysts to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and performance in reporting and analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize Epic Cogito reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support business intelligence and operational reporting needs. Design and implement data models within Epic Caboodle to support scalable and high-performance analytics solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective ETL processes and data warehouse solutions. Ensure data integrity and performance by fine-tuning SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures. Utilize Epic SlicerDicer and other self-service BI tools to empower end-users with ad-hoc reporting capabilities. Perform data validation and quality assurance to maintain accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Work with Clarity and Caboodle databases to extract and transform data for analytics and reporting purposes. Provide technical guidance and training to end-users and other team members on Epic Cogito reporting best practices. Key Requirements: Epic Cogito certification (Cogito Fundamentals, Cogito SQL, and Caboodle preferred). 3+ years of experience developing reports and analytics solutions in an Epic Cogito/Caboodle environment. Strong experience with SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse design. Proficiency in Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and SlicerDicer. Experience with ETL development, data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Knowledge of healthcare operations, workflows, and revenue cycle processes is a plus.
