Join Our Team as an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist at Direct Wire & Cable!

Are you an experienced EHS professional with a passion for safety leadership and continuous improvement? Direct Wire & Cable is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead and enhance safety programs across our Lancaster and Denver, PA facilities.

This is a full-time, onsite role with some hybrid flexibility and travel between locations as needed. This role is ideal for someone ready to take ownership of compliance, training, and risk management while fostering a proactive safety culture in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

In This Role, You Will:

• Develop and implement health and safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Create and deliver training modules to ensure OSHA compliance and employee understanding
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and exposure evaluations
• Analyze safety data and recommend corrective actions to reduce incidents
• Lead incident investigations and manage injury records and workers’ comp cases
• Maintain OSHA logs and regulatory documentation
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to leadership
• Lead safety committee meetings and promote safety culture across facilities
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to support return-to-work programs
• Travel between Lancaster and Denver facilities as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of progressive EHS experience
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and EHS certification required or in progress
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and employment laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS-related software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset aligned with Direct Wire’s core values

Primary Location:

• On-site – Lancaster, PA
• Travel: Occasional travel to Denver, PA as needed
