Scope of Role The Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Intern performs the administrative EH&S processes at the Florence site. This position is located onsite in Florence, KY and reports to the EH&S Specialist. Responsibilities Assist in conducting safety inspections and risk assessments. Collaborate with the EH&S team to develop and update safety procedures and guidelines. Support the planning and execution of safety training sessions for staff and students. Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Participate in safety audits and Job Safety Analyses. Assist other departments with document filing, scanning, auditing, etc. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current college student preferred. High School Diploma/GED is required. Entry level position. Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Good verbal/written communications skills. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations (Process Safety Management). Willing to work with hazardous and/or flammable chemicals with PPE. Willing and able to work independently and in a team atmosphere. Detail oriented and problem-solving abilities. Compensation: $24.00/hour Duration : Temporary. Relocation not provided.
