Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Assist in creating test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
Test Execution: Execute test cases manually to identify defects, bugs, and issues in software applications.
Defect Reporting: Report bugs and issues accurately and in detail using designated bug tracking tools.
Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and do not reappear in subsequent releases.
Test Automation Support: Support senior QA engineers in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
Documentation: Document test results, findings, and defects in test reports for review by senior team members.
Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and alignment on quality standards.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies to enhance testing skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate test results, findings, and defects.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow test cases and procedures.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute positively to team goals and objectives.
