Position Overview:
Communiboost We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in the event planning industry. As an Event Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, from corporate functions to social gatherings.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.25 hourly
Location: Houston,TX
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of events from conceptualization to execution.
• Serve as a point of contact between clients, vendors, and team members.
• Help manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are tracked accurately.
• Conduct research to identify suitable venues, vendors, and service providers.
• Coordinate logistics such as catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
• Assist in the creation of event materials, including invitations, programs, and signage.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
