Under the direction of the Manager, Compute & Collaboration Services, the Engineer III - Collaboration and Messaging will lead the daily administration and operations of IEHP’s Hybrid, on Premise/Onsight, and Cloud environment(s) including: the Microsoft O365 suite of products, Azure, Windows Servers, Intune, SCCM, and Virtualized Environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
2. Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
3. Help Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.
4. Lead migration efforts of existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
5. Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
6. Azure PaaS Services: Redis Cache, Service Bus, Event Hub, Cloud Service, IoT suite, Mobile Apps, etc.
7. Deploy, configure, and operate enterprise Monitoring solutions within the cloud framework.
8. Maintain and keep updated Domain Name Services both internally and externally, DHCP, Active Directory Group Policies, Single Sign On and NTP.
9. Support of Office 365 and all its related core technologies including Active Directory, Cloud Identities, Exchange, Teams, ADFS, AAD Connect, and EMS.
10. Support Windows Servers and their related components.
11. Maintain and keep updated Domain Name Services both internally and externally, DHCP, Active Directory Group Policies, Single Sign On and NTP.
12. Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.
13. Any other duties as required ensuring Health Plan operations are successful.

Education & Experience

A minimum of eight (8) or more years of hands-on experience working with O365, Messaging, Cloud and Windows environments
Experience in Monitoring related technologies like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Resource Graph, Azure Alerts, Network Watcher, Grafana, Ambari, Prometheus, Datadog, Confluent, etc. Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source) prefer PowerShell. Experience with Terraform Cloud and Azure DevOps
Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer related field or similar technical field from an accredited institution required
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position and prefer to have a Microsoft certification in either Azure or Office 365
This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above

Skilled in documenting complex system design activities and configuring systems to be consistent with operational policies and procedures
