*Job Description:* We are seeking a Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine OR Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician with at least one year of Emergency Medicine experience to provide solo Emergency Room coverage. This is a temporary position covering multiple 12-hour shifts, as outlined below.

* *Wednesday, December 18, 2024* – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* *Thursday, December 19, 2024* – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* *Friday, December 20, 2024* – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* *Saturday, December 21, 2024* – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* *Sunday, December 22, 2024* – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* *Thursday, December 26, 2024* – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* *Sunday, December 29, 2024* – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide solo Emergency Room coverage during 12-hour shifts.
* Manage a daily patient volume of 90-100 patients.
* Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift.
* Work alongside 2 mid-level providers (Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners).
* Deliver care in a facility with an open ICU and an annual patient volume of 32,000.
*Requirements:*
* Must be Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained with at least one year of Emergency Medicine experience.
* Must be credentialed with North Carolina Medicaid and enrolled in PECOS.
* Proficiency in using Meditech 6.1 EMR.
*Compensation & Benefits:*
* Competitive pay with travel costs capped at $500.
