Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Test Technician to support the troubleshooting, testing, and validation of printed circuit boards (PCBs) at the component level. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electronics theory, be able to read and interpret schematics, and apply knowledge of Ohm’s Law to diagnose and repair circuit-level issues.

Responsibilities:

• Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of faulty PCBs using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Test and verify boards against established procedures and specifications.
• Identify root causes of board-level failures and document findings.
• Work closely with engineers and production teams to resolve test-related issues.
• Maintain accurate test records and failure logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and ESD handling guidelines.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or repair.
• Basic knowledge of Ohm’s Law, voltage, current, resistance, and continuity.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Technical certificate or associate degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
