Job Description
The Education Specialist serves as an educational consultant and facilitator for Washington Health System personnel, patients, and the community in the pursuit of healthcare knowledge and skills. This position is responsible and accountable for fostering the development and growth of adult learning communities within the organization to achieve the health systems goals and objectives. Assesses the training needs of Washington Health System staff and patients, then develops, implements, evaluates, and documents programs including General Orientation, Job Specific Orientation, and Continuing Education Programs for all Washington Health System personnel to facilitate lifelong learning for professional competence and role performance.
