About the Team and Position eBay Live is a new way to sell on eBay, where sellers and buyers interact live on video. eBay sellers build buyer trust, expand their customer base, and grow repeat business through consistent and engaging live streams on eBay Live. eBay buyers can view, chat, ask questions, give feedback, vote, and buy online during eBay Live selling.
We are looking for an experienced Live Operations Specialist who can join this exciting program and play a pivotal role in driving scale and success. This role will support livestreaming operations in a fast-evolving operations environment.

What You'll Do - Operations playbook and automation: Develop and implement operations processes to support livestream commerce on eBay
- Seller onboarding: Own and support seller onboarding process, including vetting the seller applications and introducing new sellers and businesses to livestreaming on eBay
- Livestream events planning & seller guidance: Support sellers in planning and promoting their livestreams, both before and after the event to support both seller and business goals. Ideate new event formats and identify successful event playbooks. Actively manage event calendars with sellers and eBay cross-functional teams.
- Support livestream event production: Actively monitor and respond to seller questions and feedback; funnel seller feedback to other x-functional teams. Support certain livestream events in-person (requires travel) with event creation on eBay platform, active content moderation and other event admin tasks during such events (at seller studios, eBay studios or at conference venues)
- Drive trust and operations safety on live streams Work closely with the legal, analytics, product and operations teams to develop and implement policies and processes that help protect buyers and sellers. Investigate reports of abuse, fraud and any inappropriate behavior on live streams, and take appropriate action to address the situation as per approved operating procedures.
- External communications to buyers and sellers: Support ongoing communications to buyers and sellers who engage with eBay Live events - this will include delivering on existing communications protocols and supporting workflow automation as the initiative scales up
What You Will Bring: - Strong experience in tech operations, preferably at a commerce marketplace or in social commerce.
- Live streaming operations experience is a big plus.
- Streaming experience on platforms like Youtube, Facebook live, Twitch etc. preferred
- Prior experience in creating and implementing operations processes with high customer empathy
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask and a bias for action
- At least 4-6 years of experience
- Ability to travel for 25% within the US
