Company Description:
Colt's & Filly's Childcare provides exceptional child care, day care, early learning, infant care, and preschool services to the Mason, MI area. We are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for both our staff and the children in our care.

Role Description:
We are looking for friendly, caring individuals to join our amazing team as Teacher Assistants. In this role, you will support our daycare teachers in implementing the curriculum, creating a nurturing environment, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You will also assist in achieving the centers goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to multi-task
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role (or willingness to obtain)
  • Physically able to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Ability to assume low-level postures for interacting with children and engage in physical activity
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with parents and children
  • Creativity in assisting with planning and implementing activities
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
Responsibilities as a Teacher Assistant at Colt's & Filly's Childcare:
  • Assist in implementing our curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
  • Help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
  • Support and partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
  • Contribute to center success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, children, and staff
  • Assist in planning and executing creative and engaging activities for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their childs progress and needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive environment
