General Definition of Work To receive persons visiting program offices in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner;
To assist the Drug Court Liaison in the preparation, maintenance and organization of program case files;
To prepare letters and reports as may be required;
To enter and extract data from the program's case management information system and that of the Day Reporting Center/Department of Corrections system;
Prepare and compose written reports to the courts;
Concerning the progress of probationers;
Maintain orderly files and manage case records.
To accept and screen telephone calls for program staff;
Accurately recording messages when required;
To assist the Administrative Assistant, when requested in the preparation of financial or statistical reports;
Be effective in dealing with problem individuals;
To work effectively and courteously with co-workers;
The collection and posting of offender fees;
Such other duties as may reasonably be required by the Director or Drug Court Liaison.
Qualification Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but will consider student currently pursuing degree.
Effective use of inter-personal skills.
Knowledge in the use of office equipment, such as typewriters, calculators, copy machines, FAX machines, and postage meters.
Knowledge in the use of computer programs (Windows; Microsoft Word, Excel);
Must have excellent computer skills.
Basic familiarity with the use of standardized forms.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in office settings.
Good organizational skills.
