YOUR ROLE AS A DRAIN CLEANING TECHNICIAN: - Service Excellence: Complete all water quality, drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home service calls.
- Customer Engagement: Provide camera service for every mainline stoppage within 24 hours of the report, build customer rapport, and help them select the right maintenance plan.
- Solution Presentation: Explain reasons for blockage, resolve issues, and illustrate solutions to homeowners.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and knowledge to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with customer service and dispatch to ensure overall business success.
- Equipment Management: Protect and inventory drain cleaning and camera equipment, and keep your truck in top shape.
- Training & Mentoring: Participate in training exercises, meetings, trade shows, and retreats, and mentor apprentices for quick and accurate repairs.
- Administrative Tasks: Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.
QUALIFICATIONS: - License Required: Valid driver's license.
- Experience: At least 6+ months of experience in drain cleaning, water quality, or a related field.
- Customer Focused: A knack for presenting solutions to homeowners' pain points and diffusing messy situations.
- Organized & Communicative: Highly organized with exceptional follow-through, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Integrity & Team Spirit: High integrity with advanced social skills, a desire to continuously improve, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in an evolving environment with fluctuating start and end times.
