Cat Topia designs and builds custom outdoor cat enclosures—also known as catios—for homeowners across Colorado and nationwide. Since 2018, we’ve helped cats thrive by creating safe, enriching spaces that support their well-being while giving owners peace of mind.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and personable Door-to-Door Sales Representative to join the Cat Topia team. In this role, you’ll represent our brand in the field—going door to door to engage with homeowners, identify interest, and introduce them to the benefits of custom catios. You’ll conduct on-site evaluations and guide qualified leads through the sales process, helping them envision how a catio can enhance life for both their cat and their household.

This is a field-based, face-to-face sales position ideal for someone who thrives in direct, client-facing environments. You’ll collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to pursue high-quality leads, deliver tailored consultations, and professionally present and secure sales agreements.

We offer a base salary plus uncapped commission, with full training and ongoing support from our Sales Manager and Marketing team to help you succeed and grow your career.

Responsibilities

• Go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods to introduce Cat Topia’s services
• Prospect and engage with potential clients in person
• Conduct site visits at client homes to assess project feasibility
• Educate customers about the benefits of catios and Cat Topia’s unique value
• Identify and report hot lead locations and warm prospect opportunities
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to follow up and close deals
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, progress, and sales outcomes
• Represent the Cat Topia brand with professionalism, empathy, and enthusiasm

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of sales experience (door-to-door, direct, or in-home sales preferred)
• Passionate about cats and animal wellbeing
• Coachable and eager to learn proven sales techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel and work door-to-door in assigned territories
• Comfortable initiating face-to-face conversations with potential clients at their homes
• Self-starter mindset with strong time management and organization skills
• Positive attitude and drive to exceed sales goals
