As a Security Dispatcher, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Security Dispatcher plays a critical role in the overall security program and in the success of day-to-day operations. As first line of defense, they are tasked with making the first impression with guests, customers, and clients. As an extension of the company, the Security Dispatcher reflects a professional demeanor and appearance to optimally highlight our customer’s brand. The Security Dispatcher will provide model customer service as well as favorably resolve conflict through solid communication skills. The Security Dispatcher may have to deal with stressful situations requiring critical thinking abilities to de-escalate unprecedented encounters, understand social cues, and call for assistance when appropriate. Functionally, the Security Dispatcher must be technically competent, computer literate, able to answer inbound/outbound calls, recognize signs of intrusion, have strong observation skills, and remain calm under pressure. The Security Dispatcher has the responsibility to maintain proprietary information in confidence and politely, with maximum consideration, enforce security and safety regulations. The position requires administrative support of special events, facility operations, and security functions.
Responsibilities:
Account for all temporary/visitor badges by immediately logging their distribution, auditing their use, and submitting a monthly inventory
Mitigate unwanted intruders and see that visitors are escorted at all times
