Job Overview The Director, Strategic Project Management Office (SPMO) position leads AltaMed's execution of strategic and enterprise projects aligned to AltaMed's Enterprise Strategic Plan. This role provides leadership, management and guidance to a centralized Project Management team that utilizes standard disciplined approaches to manage a portfolio of strategic cross-functional projects that are critical to achieving enterprise goals and objectives. The Director serves as a subject matter in AltaMed's deployment of a standard project management methodology and directly engages with Executive and Senior Leadership in adopting best practices in the planning and execution of enterprise projects. This responsibility includes leading the Enterprise Strategic Project Management Steering Committee, actively participating in AltaMed's Enterprise Strategic Planning process, collaborating with Executive & Senior Leadership in development and prioritization of enterprise projects and coordinating with Quality and Process Improvement and functional project management leaders in the allocation of resources and consistent monitoring on projects throughout the enterprise that are critical to execution of AltaMed's strategic and operational plans.
Minimum Requirements 1. Master's degree in business, health care, organizational management or related field is required
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in executing projects in a structure project management environment required.
3. Minimum of 6 years of experience managing or coaching cross-function project management teams required.
4. Minimum 6 years of experience in health care or similar industry required.
5. Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar process improvement certification required; Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
6. Project Management Certification required.

Salary Range $180,693.76 - $225,867.20 annually
