About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director, SEO Product with a strong technical SEO background to lead the rebuild and optimization of its automotive repair shop directory. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the product's vision, strategy, and roadmap, as well as for driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO principles and strategies, and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end products with a focus on SEO and traffic growth. The Director will be expected to conduct market research, develop a product roadmap, and build and lead a cross-functional team. Technical curiosity, a customer-centric approach, and excellent communication skills are essential. Applicants for the Director, SEO Product position at the company must have at least 7 years of product management experience, with a specialization in technical SEO. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required. The ideal candidate will be an expert in SEO tools and have experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making. SaaS experience, intermediate knowledge of SQL, experience with small business owners, and a background in the automotive industry are all considered advantageous. The role demands a self-starter with a user-centric mindset, who is detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable to change.
